When I was a kid, there was nothing more important to me than my Legos. I remember sitting on the ground in my living room for hours on the weekend, just putting little plastic pieces together to build cars, submarines, and whatever else I thought was cool at the time. Now as an adult, I get that same excitement I used to have as I make my way home from the toy store with a new Lego set. Only this time, half my excitement is for all the cool photos I'll get out of my new purchase. Photography is my way of adding more value to these sets and preserving them for when they inevitably fall off the shelf and lose their pieces... I wonder how many Lego pieces are still hiding around the house from my childhood shenanigans?
