Overview
This project was all about designing a series of paper applications to be used in conjunction with my new brand and logo. These applications are known as Stationery, and consist of business cards, a letterhead, a mailing label, envelope, and invoice. All of these elements when combined are used to increase professionalism, brand awareness, and assist in marketing my services. All products are designed with the Trahan Designs aesthetic in mind, incorporating the official color palette and fonts.
Business Cards
The most visually engaging product in my stationery is the business card. This was a lot of fun for me to design and I am incredibly happy with how it came out. This design features an individual front and back arrangement, as well as includes my logo, phone number, email, website, as well as a working QR that leads to the Trahan Designs website.
Letterhead and Invoice
The letterhead is a blank piece of paper to be used when writing a business letter or official document. This follows the Trahan Designs visual identity and includes contact information.
The Invoice is a form to be filled out when evaluating the cost of a client project, similar to a receipt. This document features personal contact information, client contact information, personal branding, price breakdowns, project details, and a spot for a signature.
Envelope and Mailing Label
Both the envelope and mailing label are used for sending documents and products through the mail and carry the same aesthetic appearance as all the other products.
Conclusion
Overall, this project was a lot of fun for me and was one of the projects that made me really fall in love with branding. There is something really satisfying about spending lots of time on each specific part and seeing it all come together at the end, especially since they all carry a very specific look and were designed to be used together. Each one of these products is very important for any graphic designer, and I wouldn’t be much of a graphic designer if I couldn’t make them myself.
