The Rutland Regional Planning Commission (RRPC) is an accomplished regional planning and economic development organization, serving 27 towns in the Rutland Region of Vermont. Here I was a graphic design intern from January 2022 to May 2022, handling all their brand work and graphic needs.

When I first started at RRPC, one of the first things I noticed was their branded rack cards. I suppose they did their job of grabbing my attention, however, there were two different rack cards that did exactly the same thing, which confused me. Plus, neither of them looked very refined or current. I knew this was a problem I could solve.
Behold, my take on the RRPC rack card design:

In addition to catching the attention of a passerby, this rack card is designed to effectively communicate anything you might need to know about RRPC at an initial glance. The new RRPC rack card explicitly describes who they are, what they do, and to who they offer their services, so there is no confusion. It also offers several communication or information outlets, including their Facebook page and website, for anyone looking to learn more about the provided services. Lastly, the RRPC visual appearance that I've been closely developing has been applied throughout the design, adding consistency to the whole brand.
